About LFG Idiomas

The story of LFG begins with the journey of Jean — a dreamer with a nomadic soul, was born in the Caribbean and raised in the United States, where he studied Language Coaching at the Oxford Institute and Humanities at Université INUKA in France. From a young age, Jean felt the world was his home. Through his work with an international NGO, he traveled to many countries, immersing himself in different cultures, connecting with people, and learning to communicate in various languages. That’s how he became fluent in English, French, Spanish, Creole, and, more recently, Portuguese.

Today, Jean lives in Brazil — a country that welcomed him warmly and that he now calls home. Inspired by everything he’s experienced, he decided to share his knowledge in a generous and innovative way. That’s how LFG Idiomas was born — a school that goes beyond traditional teaching to offer a true immersion in language and culture, without ever leaving the country.

Here, we believe that learning a new language is a transformative journey. It’s like the butterfly’s cycle — the symbol we chose for our logo. We begin timidly, afraid of making mistakes, but little by little, with encouragement and care, we break out of our cocoon and find our voice in another language. To us, fluency means freedom.
